Does Citalopram Interfere With The Working Of Implanon?

hi my name is Kylie Thompson I have the implanon had it since Oct last yr n more recently have been put on 20 mg of citalopram does this medication interfere with the way the implanon works at all just that most recently ive been experiencing pregnancy symptoms please help

Hi,welcome to healthcaremagic forum.
Citalopam usually will not interfere with implanon contraception.Both of them can be safely used together.
However,if you have pregnancy symptoms,pregnancy has to be ruled out.You pleas do a urine pregnancy test.It usually become positive after 2 weeks of missing the period,if pregnant.
