Does Claritan Have Side Effects On Children?
Good Morrning Dr. Grief, I have questions regarding the safety of using certain drugs for children for allergies and asthma like singulaire and claritan. My son seem to be not himself lately- night terrors, fearful, a little withdrawn. Upon speaking with the allergist, he suggested we immediately discontinue singular, which I have done. But now I am wondering about stopping the Claritan as well.... Thoughts?

feeling like you might pass out, jaundice (yellowing of your skin or eyes); or
seizures (convulsions),
headache, nervousness,feeling tired or drowsy, stomach pain, diarrhea, dry mouth, sore throat hoarseness, eye redness, blurred vision, nosebleed; or
skin rash.
