Does Constipation, Diarrhea, Passing Stool Immediately After Bath, Red Vein Indicates Parasite?

My 12 month old son has been having fits of constipation and diarrea since christmas. He has been very irratable and isnt gaining much weight. Every time i give him a bath, he passes a stool. Ive been seeing half eaten food and a lot of small red vein/branchy like strings along with tiny black "seeds". Is this possible a parasite?

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Yes, this can be parasites symptom as well as bacterial infection. For sure it lasts to long to ignore it. Please do not await any longer and visit a doctor. Otherwise he may get serious complications. Stool test and stool culture test should be done at first. Abdominal ultrasound and blood work seems also advisable.
Parasites infection should be treated with proper anti parasites medicines.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
