Does Diabetes Afftect Kidney And Liver?

My brother has been very sick for a while now,he has diabeties one,he is 59yrs old.He drinks and takes pain meds.He gets up every morning sick as a dog .He cant eat or sometimes he cant get out of bed because he is so sick to his stomach.The other day he went to the hospital and they did a ct of his stomach and a cbc.They said they both came back fine so they sent him home he is still very sick and has lost 20lbs,he does not have ins because he has not worked in a while .If something was wrong with his kidney liver ect.would it show up in a cbc?

Yes diabetes definetly effects kidney,liver eyes brain,and possibly every organ by causing widespread coagulation and blockage of micro circulation,eyes are effected called as retinopathy,kidneys are effected called diabetic nephropathy,
Delayed wound healing also occurs in diabetic patient,diabetic patient may get pain in legs hands known as diabetic neuropathy,
Fluctuating level of blood sugar may cause weakness,tiredness,
To have strict diet control with regular exercise,an regular antidiabetic drug and insulin will help.
