Im a 51 year old black male.and I sleep on some slippery ice last week.and I fell backwards on my head.the day after that occurred I started feeling my head spinning and whirling around. Evrytime I get up or make a sudden move or something.its now been going on a week now and I still have those feelings.was wondering could that have caused my equalibrium to be off.and should I see a doctor.

Hello
Yes you need to see a doctor since you need skull x-rays to rule out a skull or an ear canal fracture, either of which could cause the dizziness.

This can be treated with a medication called meclizine
