Does Domstal And Lanzol Increase Appetite?

my 20 month old baby was suffering from cold and cough which led to the accumalation of phlegm in her intestine.that caused acidity and she was vomiting continusly for three days. our pediatrician suggested domstal and lanzol. after that she got good appetite. is that medicines effect? pls reply

Domstal syrup contains domperidon which is used to treat indigestion, acidity, nausea and vomiting. It blocks the substance in the brain that triggers nausea and vomiting. It also increases the movement of food in the stomach and improves digestion. So, it can increase appetite.

Lanzol syrup contains lansoprazole which is used to treat hyper acidity, acid reflux, indigestion, peptic ulcers disease etc. It reduces the amount of acid your stomach make and heals the acidity problems. It helps in proper digestion. So, it can also increase appetite.
