Does Drinking Alcohol During Rabies Vaccination Cause Any Adverse Effects?

Hi! I was biten by my friends dog last monday and I had an alcohol consumption before going to the the hospital for anti rabies vaccination at the same day. Will there be any adverse effect or will the vaccination be effective even though i had an alcohol consumption during the time that the vaccine was injected?

Hello,

Taking alcohol has no adverse effect on anti-rabies injection or visa versa. You need not worry about. However, please complete the full course of injections recommended. Only then taking anti rabies injections will be beneficial.
