Does False Contractions With Clear Gooey Discharge Mean Onset Of Labour?

so i am 38 weeks pregnant as of yesterday. starting on saturday ive had this clear gooey discharge. sometimes its alot and sometimes its just watery looking on the toilet paper. at my last prenatal check up my dr told me that the baby's head was "waaayyy down" ive been having false contractions for a little over a week now, and was wondering if you could estimate or guess how much longer i might have until i go into labor??

Hu, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The clear fluid you are leaking from the vagina is most likely amniotic fluid indicating that the membranes have ruptured. The Labour can start at anytime from now.
Since your membranes seem to have ruptured, I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, and get treated accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
