Does Feeling Of Nausea, gagging And Light Headed Sign Of Low Level Of Diabetes?
My mother, who is 59-years-old has type 2 diabetes. She is obese. Not sure about her exact weight. This morning her blood sugar was high at about 200. She immediately ate some eggs, nothing else with it, and gave herself an insulin shot. A little while later she started to feel better as her blood sugar was getting lower. 2 hours later she is nauseated, gagging, and light headed. She is at work and forgot her glucose meter. Are these symptoms of her blood sugar getting too low? Or could something else be going on?
Yes ! you guessed it right . Most probably her sugars would have gone low. Eggs alone might not keep up the sugars levels. Please check her sugars for necessary action. Dr.Riyaz
