Does Fever And Appetite Loss Require Medical Attention In 2 Year Old?

My 2year old has a slight fever (101) and is lethargic. He isn't eating as well as usual, but he's drinking well, and has had several full diapers so I don't think he's dehydrated. He's only had a fever for a day, but when should we decide to take him to the doctor?

Thanks for the query.
You can wait for 24 - 72 hours for fever to get down, but as the child is not eating
normally you should consult your doctor earlier.
Any type of fever is having loss of appetite, so to maintain blood sugar level and keep child hydrated you should give plenty of water / ors along with food.
Hope i helped you.
