Does Fluid In Pouch Of Douglas Increase Risk Of Miscarriage?
Hi, i had a transvaginal scan performed which showed i had a anteverted uterus with a volume of 103 cc with normal myometrial texture. The endometrial thickness was 12.6 mm. The ovarian volumes being 13.7 cc on the right and 7.1 cc on the left. There are also at least 20 peripheral follicles on each. There was a small amount of free fluid in the pouch of Douglas. I was wondering if this increases the risk of miscarriage? I was also wanting to know if there is anything i need to be concerned with? I am a 32 year old female with two toddlers. Thanks for your time.
