Does Frequent Urination With Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen Suggest UTI?

I have been urinating constantly as soon as I urinate I have to go again , not much comes out each time , however when I wipe there is blood , not in the urine but when I wipe after I urinate , plus I have this sharp pain in my lower belly when I urinate , does this indicate a UTI ?

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Yes, frequent urination and pain in your back or lower abdomen may indicate Urinary Track Infection(UTI). Also Cloudy/bloody/ dark or strange smelling urine is the symptom of UTI. Very common is burning during urination.

I suggest you to consult a physician so that he or she will examine You and prescribe an antibiotic. If the infection will not respond to this treatment your doctor may order an urine test to find which bacteria is present in your urine.

Also there are some ways that may help You to prevent UTI: urinate and wash after sexual intercourse (women have a bigger chance of UTI because of shorter urethras), drink more water and empty your bladder frequently also keep your genital area dry.
