Does Grade 3 Placenta Has Any Effect On Baby Or Delivery?
Hi I had my ultrasound biophysical study at 37th week. Fetus is in cephalic presentation, nonstress test is reactive but placenta is left fundal and early grade 3 in maturity. Is everything allright? Does grade 3 placenta has any effect on baby or delivery? Please tell me clearly. How can this grade be improved?

1.You don't have to be worried about the placental grading in your case, as it is normal to be grade III in 37 weeks of pregnancy.
2.Grading is done by smooth greed I in 1st trimester and grade II in second with few calcific specks and grade III in third trimeter with placental lakes and calcifications - all these are normal process in the pregnancy.
3.You don't have to do any thing particular to increase / decrease the grade.
4.All above findings are normal - good luck
