Does Haematuria Causes Inflammatory Cells And Mucinous?
I got pap smear done. The report says that i have endocervical cell clusters in a mucinous background. Igot pap smear done 2 months back also then the result showed presence of inflammatory cells.but now it says about mucinous background.what does it mean. I am sufferig from haematuria also.pls ans.
You have done pap smear examination. Endocervical cells usually present in clusters normally...... Background can be mucinous.... Here no abnormality is present like atypical cells , clue cells or viral inclusion etc..... So no need for worry about pap report.
Cause for hematuria has to be searched for..... USG abdomen done. Also Urine examination done for pus cells.... So it will help in rule out kidney infection or urinary tract stone like condition.... According to cause treatment done. If needed per speculum examination done to look for any erosion if present in genital area.
Take care.
Consult physician for your condition.
