Does Hearing And Feeling Of Pulsing Beats In Head Cause Strokes?

I hear and feel minor fast pulsing beats in back right side of my head - possibly in or behind the right ear - no pain. This problem is an on again off again issue for me but is usually most prevalent (or noticeable) when I go to bed at night. However, I now sense and feel it in the daytime (at this very momemt 3:50pm cst). I'm 53, my family has history of strokes - could it be a warning sign?

unless you have some other relevant problem,it is not of much importance.It is just awareness of pulses in some of the arteries for some people.It is more a psychological awareness,then a physical disease symptom.
