Does Hernia Cause Pain?

My 15 year old son is worried cause his left testicle is hanging more than his right, not usually the case for him,he is in no pain, no lumps no redness according to him. he plays football and lifts heavy weights. could it be a hernia?would a hernia cause pain?

Hi,
From history it seems that your son might be having indirect reducible hernia on left testicle giving rise bigger size.
Please see that while lying down this size decreases or not.
Lifting heavy weight and playing stranious game might give tris to this problem.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
