Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Certainly yes, food poisoning can cause the symptoms that you have mentioned.

Since one loses fluids and electrolytes the body can go numb or show other symptoms.
Secondly, the infection causes toxemia, septicemia, causing similar symptoms and in absence of fever, this can be dangerous.

Hence, I would advise you the following in such a situation.
• Rush to your doctor or your RR for clinical evaluation, examination, and investigations of blood and stool.
• Get intravenous fluid replacement and electrolyte balance, and antibiotic cover.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
