Does Intake Of Champix Cause Erectile Dysfunction?

I started taking champix a couple of weeks ago and have totally quit smoking easily . However erectile difficulties have become a problem , this also happened the last time I quit smoking and I believe it s from the champix . How common is this ? Cuz last time that s what made me start smoking again was the mental connection to Ed . I was taking champix at that time as well but stopped and it went away

Champix contains Varenicline which is used for the treatment of nicotine addiction. Erectile dysfunction is not so common side effects of it but it has been documented that it can cause erectile dysfunction.
Other most common side effect is nausea. Nausea is usually mild to moderate and fades with time. Other side effects include stomach or bowel problems (e.g. constipation, gas, dry mouth, vomiting, indigestion), headache, dizziness, sleeping problems, unusual dreams, feeling tired, increased appetite.
I will advice you to take advice from your doctor and ask him to replace champix with other suitable formula
