Does Intake Of Cocaine Causes Swollen Nose?

Hello my nose is swollen from what i think is from cocaine use. Something i do not do but i did for new years. I did about half of a gram and the next morning i woke up with a swollen nose. What would you recommend? I also had surgery over a month ago for a deviated septum, maybe that has something to do with it

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain swollen nose after snorting cocaine can be due to allergic reaction to cocaine or there is also a possibility that it has led to inflammation in the mucosa of the nose..
As it is just one month that you have got surgery for the Deviated nasal septum done there is a possibility that complete healing has not taken place and the tissues have got inflamed leading to swelling..
I would suggest you to avoid snorting cocaine or any recreational drug again and do cool compresses over the nose..
Take anti allergics like Levocetrizine..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
You can also do saline nasal irrigations to remove any particles if present inside the nose..
In case of no resolution in 3 to 4 days consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
