Does Intake Of Prednisone Cause Rash Like Side Effects?

I am very sensitive to most meds and must start with low doses. I was given 10 mil. of prednisone. I took it one day and woke up with a blackish/red raised area on my arm which was not there last night. Since I am so sensitive, could this be a possible side effect?

Hello.Although not impossible, it is difficult to be allergic to Prednisone because it is a corticosteroid commonly used to treat allergic pathologies.Besides, when a person has a drug allergy, appear hives over all the body with much itching.
