Does Intake Of Singulair, Ativan, Luvox, Seroquel Have Side Effects?

My brother is special needs and is in a home and I get him every weekend. I noticed that his doctor keeps upping his medication and wanted to know if its too much medication for him. He takes Daily Singulair - 10 MG, Ativan - 3 MG, Luvox - 50 MG, and Seroquel - 1500 MG. I think it is way too much for him he is only 25 years old and he has been on meds for the past 5 years but before that he wasn t on any. I have noticed in the past 5 years his body has changed and he isn t coherent any more, he shakes, he is always tired and his doctor says its normal side effects of the drugs I just want a second opinion.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, that is correct. These can be side effects of the medication mentioned particularly the luvox and seroquel.
Ativan may also cause drowsiness as well.

You should consider speaking to his doctor but if you are not satisfied or unsure about the response then you should take him to another doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
