Does Laryngomalacia Lead To Speech Impediment?

I have a client that was diagnosed with laryngomalacia at 10 days old. She is now 2 and a half and has some feeding difficulties and has a severe speech delay. She seems to have difficulty initiating vocal chord vibration. Is this related to the laryngomalacia?
