Does Longer Usage Of Metaspray Have Any Side Effect?
Dear Sir, My son is diagnosed with with huge adenoids. He is 2 years old. Doctor has prescribed metaspray for 2 months. He is cured to an extent of 80 %. He is not snoring now but sometimes we hear whistle like sound. Sometimes his breathing is also fast. Does he suffer from from asthma or something other than adenoids. Can we continue metaspray for some more months. Does it have any side effects. For how long can we use metaspray. Thanks in advance.

Metaspray contains mometasone which is steroid in low doses.Snoring at night is commonly due to enlarged adenoids in children. Enlarged adenoids are commonly due to allergic rhinitis. For that low dose steroid spray work like wonder.So don't worry .you are on right track
