Doctor I had a colenoscopy for diverticulatis 7 years ago, I have been under a lot of stress, I travel every week ouside of the country on business to Mexico and other countries in Latinamerica,a s you knwo Mexico has spicy foods and I try not to eat them, I am concerned that my bowel movement is four to six times a day, it varies the bowel but is more loose and watery than hard , what should I do?, Have I adquired IBS? I do not have blood in the stool and when I eat sauces or fried foods it is more diahrrea type
More mucus secreation occurs in stool. Bloating stomach is present in irritable bowel syndrome. Long time history of this symptoms may diagnose irritable bowel syndrome.
Abdominal ultra sonography is normal in irritable bowel syndrome. Proper history and physical examination give exact idea about disease. Consent a Gastroenterologist for diagnose.
