I assume that you are talking about the
dysplasia of the
cervix and the HPV virus is also positive in your case.
In this context, I would like you some information about HPV and its carcinogenic property.
HPV infection can cause premalignant and malignant changes in the epithelial lining of the cervix.
Development of dysplasia implies that the dysplastic changes have already occurred.
HPV infection persists once the epithelium is infected.
Anti
HPV vaccine can be used, however, the vaccine is effective when taken before the virus infects.
It is not 100% effective once the infection has already developed.
Prevention of sexaual activity will not help.
However, monogamous relation ship will prevent the further infection.
You need to on regular follow up be repeating the pap test after regular interval.
