Does Mathimazole Effect The Menstrual?

Hi i just started to take methimazole and i on Friday i wake up having some menstrual cramps and i thought my will have my period but as of today i have not got them yet. Does mathimazole effect the menstrual? Also i have a lot of muscle pains on my both legs..

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Due to side effects of Methimazole you can have body ache, blood in urine or stool, irregular spotting.
So consult your doctor to regularise your dose.
