Does Montair Tablets Usage For Long Term Has Any Side Effects?

hi , my 3 yr old sun is having cough and weezing for 1 week so dr. suggested montair -4 for 6 month as he get cough often when monsoon starts and he has been asked to nebulize every 4 hours. is it ok to give him montair for such a long time and nebulize so frequently? are there any side effects?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. First I want to tell that Montair is very safe drug in appropriate doses -
1. 3 years is not an age to diagnose asthma. It could be either multi triggered wheeze or episodic viral wheeze.
2. Montair or nebulizations or any of the medications used for wheezing in any route either oral or inhalational do not cause dependency or make the patient prone for asthma.
3. These drugs if taken at the appropriate dose and duration will have very very minimal side effects - which are not clinically significant.
