Does Not Wearing Glasses For Astigmatism Cause Any Effects On Eyes?
About 2 years ago, I learned that I had -1.25 astigmatism in my both eyes. My ophthalmologist told me that I should wear glasses, especially while doing intensive work (Which is most of the time since I'm a computer engineer). After two years of struggling with itchy, red eyes and chronic eye strain, I finally decided to get my glasses last week. Now, I've been wearing them for a week and my eyes feel a lot better. It also hit me how stupid I was by ignoring a problem like this. My question is: Does not wearing glasses and getting a lot of strain like mine have any permanent effects on eyes? If it has, is there anything I can keep in mind to lessen them? Thanks for reading.
you must were glass and without it i twill strain and you may have permanent acuity problem. your visual center in brain will accept only good vision and other will be suppressed.
