Does Overdose Of Losartan 100 Mg Cause Any Side Effect?
Hi, I take Lostartan 100 mg for my high blood pressure at night. I had the bottle on my table to take at 9. Then later went to another room and took the bottle and took a pill. Then I couldn t remember if I took one earlier. If I did will this cause a problem or reaction? Thank you.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The usual starting dose of Losartan is 50 mg once or twice daily.
The blood pressure lowering effects are usually seen between three to six weeks. Usually taking an extra dose of Losartan does not cause any side effects, however you should consult your doctor if you notice a fast or slow heartbeat, dizziness, and feeling like passing out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
