Does Overdose Of Methadone Cause Harmful Side Effects?

My husband has chronic pain due to 14 back surgeries and takes 4-5 methadone 10mg every 12 hours. He took 4 at 5:00 pst and we were laughing at a good ol western when he was getting his meds ready for the am. He took the 4 methadone before he realized it. He tried to vomit but that didn t work. Should we be worried.

give detail of problem and surgery it can be pivd. taking methadone which may cause adiction. over dose can have side effect.
