Does Pancreatic Cancer Cause Cough Producing White Stringy Phlegm?

I spent the day yesterday with my 87 yr. old mother and she was coughing up white stringy phlemg all day. She was diagnosed 4 1/2 weeks ago with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. She is in no pain and has chosen no treatments for her cancer. I was with her all day Monday and she had no cough what so ever.

Hi
This isn't likely to be related to the pancreatic cancer
It does sound, however, like she has a lung infection--probably bronchitis--and she needs to see her doctor about this since she may need a round of antibiotics
I find this answer helpful
