Does Pandol Cause Rashes Like Side Effect?

i have been having cold for the last week. and now i have recovered. i been using panadol Extra to reduce the fever n pain of the sore throat. i was using about 8 tablets a day for the last week. but now , i stop. but my skin feels like itchy all over my body.. is the reason all about panadol ? or what might be ! i didnt use any other medicine. n my body is not that allergic from medicine. but this time is happening. what would u think the reason is?

Thank you for posting your question to HCM,

From what you are describing it doesn't look like a allergic reaction from the medicine, and the medicine itself is not from those who give a allergic reaction. You should have used it before, because its a very used medicine.

The most possible cause of the itchiness may be because you have lost fluids during the time you have been sick, from the fever maybe, or secretions and the sickness itself. The dry skin becomes itchy.
Make sure to drink plenty of fluids in the days to come, and apply moisturizing creams if possible.
Panadol is a medicine that damages the liver if its used in excess, so try to not use it more then 8 tablets/day. If possible stop using it at all for some time.

If worse, or not better, contact with your local doctor so he does an evaluation of the skin and your liver function also.
