Yes, it may cause generalized weakness. Most common symptoms of 
polymyalgia rheumatica are pain and stiffness in the body. 
Other symptoms fatigue, malaise, a loss of appetite, sudden, unintentional weight loss, anaemia, or low red blood cell count, depression, a 
low-grade fever, a limited range of motion.
These people also may have a headache or 
blurred vision or vision loss etc. 
Treated with painkiller medication and corticosteroid or vitamin d supplementation or 
physical therapy and anti depressants may useful.
Please consult your 
rheumatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
