Does Prolonged Intake Of Wellbutrin Cause Short Term Memory Issues?

My husband has been taking Wellbutrin for some time now. He has increasingly been experiencing changes in his ability to retain things in the area of short term memory. This has been gradually becoming more and more of an issue. He appears to be losing the ability to connect the dots when it comes to even the most trivial things. He has also become very confused while driving in heavy traffic...going into major panic attacks over things like missing a turn. None of this is normal behavior for him and has all been relatively recent. He has had a MRI of is brain which was found to be clear of any major abnormalities. Is it possible that the medication could be causing all or some of these issues?
