Does Puss Filled Bumps In Breast Suggest Cancer?

Hello.. I am 21 y.o. female, 5'3", 190 lbs. A few days ago, I noticed a red bump on my left breast... resembling a mosquito bite. I did not pay much attention to it and about an hour ago, before I got in the shower, I started messing with it and I squeezed it and a mixture of runny pus and blood came out. It is now looking inflamed and bruised up a bit from poking at it so much. Should i be worried about this? Also, I think i may have a skin condition because my breasts are covered in these little whitehead looking things with small feathery hairs in them.. kinda gross, sorry. :/ if I squeeze them, i can usually get pus out of them. I'm worried this might be breast cancer, please help!!

Hallow Dear,

Pus in the breasts does not necessarily be due to cancer of the breast; it can be due to some pyogenic infection. Such abscess can be treated with incision and drainage of the abscess and antibiotics.

The description of your tumour with hair in it seems to be a condition called as the Dermoid cyst. It contains cheesy material which may appear like pus. This is a benign condition, though has an occasional possibility of turning into malignancy. Please report to the surgeon and get the diagnosis confirmed. Dermoid cyst needs to be removed surgically. After excision of the cyst, it is advisable to get the tissue examined for Histopathology to confirm the clinical diagnosis and rule out any focal malignant change in the cyst.

I hope this helps you.
