Does Receiving Cortisone Shots While On Methadone Cause Any Side Effects?
Okay, I am on 135 mg. Of methadone and had to get 2 cortisone shots one in each knee today. And, never gave it a thought of there being a problem. Please, will I be okaye. I do have scoliosis, spinal stenosis, and really arthritis basically everwhere it seems like. Ex. Legs, knees, back, neck, wrist, a shoulder. Approx. 4 years and was on oxycotin 80 mg. And 40 mg. Breakthru and then you guessed it I was hooked on it. That s why I m on methadone Now and I am very embarrassed but, couldn t help it. And, the methadone does take the edge off but, not the pain. Thank You.

I have viewed your question and here is my advice.Sorry to hear of your sufferings, Though there may be side effects with such injections ( like pain, or very uncommonly infection of the joints) but most of the times they are safe in expert hands.
