Does Regular Morphine Intake, As A Pain Reliever, Lead To Fluid Filled Lungs?

hi,

aim writing on behalf of my father. Hs lungs keep filling up with fluid and they doctors have been trying to find out for months what causing it and still no answers. i have been doing my own research and i believe it could be caused by the fact he has been on morphine tablets fr years due to an injured back could this be the case

Hi,
Case of your father requires evaluatation.
There might be possibility of having pleural effusion due to pneumonia, tuberculosis or some malignancy.
Consult pulmonologist and go for detail investigations.
After proper diagnosis they will go for treatment accordingly.
