Does Sharp Pain Inside The Elbow Joint Get Cured On Its Own?

7 Months ago I cracked the Lateral Epicondyle and Olecranon in my left arm in a RTC. My arm is fully healed up now and I ve got full mobility but ocasionally when I straighten and twist my arm at the same time I get a very sharp and immensely painful stabbing feeling inside of my elbow joint, where it was broken. Is this the sort of thing that will just go away with a bit more time of healing, or should I get it checked out again?

Hi,

The pain may last for few weeks and settle by itself.

You can take analgesics like Diclofenac or Ibuprofen for pain relief.

If the pain persists for long despite taking analgesics, you can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
