Hi,
Welcome to health care magic.
I have gone through your query and I understand your concern about the not healing rash of your boyfriend.
As you are a med student, you will have to understand that
lymph node swelling is usually associated with infection of the region they drain.
The common infections causing axillary lymph node swellings are B henselae infection (
catscratch disease) and Staphylococcal or streptococcal skin infections.
Look for any significant history of exposure to an infected cat like a cat bite.
Cellulitis can also be one of the reasons.
I suggest a culture sensitivity of a swab taken from the rash or oozing wounds to confirm the organism causing infection and appropriate antibiotics have to be taken based on that test result.
Coming to itchy feet, most common reason for them is
dry skin or
fungal infection. Get a skin consultation to confirm.
I hope I have helped you with this answer.
Thanks.
