Does Syndopa Plus And Syndopa Cr Has Any Side Effects?

Sir, my mother has Parkinsons. It was diagonized couple of months back. she has shiver and shake in her left hand and left leg. Doctor prescribed parkitidin and asked her to see a specialist and that doctor suggested syndopa plus adn syndopa cr. Could you please let me know which one has which sideeffects, if any ?

Hi,

Both Syndopa Plus and Syndopa CR contains the same preparation namely Levodopa (100mg) + Carbidopa (25mg) and Levodopa (200mg) + Carbidopa (50mg) which are used to treat the symptoms of parkinson's disease and parkinson's like symptoms that are associated with some other diseases. These may include shakiness, stiffness and slowness of movement. These symptoms are usually caused a lack of dopamine, a natural substance present in the brain.

Their side effects are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, depression, dry mouth, headache, hallucinations, uncontrolled body movements, fainting, confusion, feeling sad, irregular heart beat, anxiety, abnormal dreams, insomnia, constipation, orthostatic hypotension, allergic reactions etc.
