Does Taking Amoxicillin Affect Sperm Count?

i am a 40 year old male and i just had a tooth pulled and was prescibed 800mg ibuprophen and amoxicillin 500mg for my work days my non work days i have amoxicillin 500mg and acetaminophe30 300mg . my question is does this affect sperm count or chances of a pregnancy

Dear thanks for the question.

You are unnecessarily concerned. Amocacillin doesn't have any effect on sperm count. You can continue taking it as per your doctor's advise. General decline in health may have some impact on sperm count and amocacillin is a commonly used antibiotic for varieties of infections (health issues) which may have led to this perception about amocacillin.
