Does Taking Amoxycillin Make Urinalysis And Culture Negative For UTI?
I believe i have a UTI, however my urinalysis and culture is negative. I was taking some antibiotics at the beginning amoxicllin that i had at home, however the symptoms still are there but less. Would this cause the specimen to come back negative:

If you have taken amoxycillin and the bacteria are sensitive to the medication then it is probable that culture will be negative. Please take complete course of amoxycillin and drink lots of water and visit the wash room regularly.
