Does Taking Cortisone Shot Cause Delay In Periods?

Hello, im on birth control (pills) and had last pill a week ago on thursday. Last wednesday i had cortisone (depo-medrol) injection to my knee, ive had only one. Its week after and i didnt get my period. Ive made a pregnancy test and its negative. Could cortisone affect my menstruation?

Hello,

Steroid injection can cause slight derangement in menstrual cycle but it will return to its normal rhythm soon. No definite treatment is required.
