Does Taking Insulin In The Breast Is Harmful?

I heard from my doctor friday that my mammogram showed I have Microcalcifications. and she wants me to see a surgeon. Well..this morning as I was drawing up my Lantus 35 units I was thinking about this and gave myself the lantus shot in my breast. Realized what I did as soon as did it and was shocked. I m worried...is it bad to give insulin in the breast ? Am I gonna be okay?

Dear sir

Breast contains more of fat tissue, it is not harmful to give insulin injections to breast,
as Lantus contains glargine which is acidic in nature, which needs adipocytes for storage and action

Breast contains lot of adipost tissue in that matter so dont worry

Secondly that site is not indicated because of formation of abcess or lipohypertrophy, or lipoatrophy which might not be acceptable cosmetically

Thanks
