Does Taking Levothyroxine, Bactrim And Prilosec Together Cause Elevated Creatinine Levels?

I am on 1950mcgs per week of levothyroxine. I got a bacterial infection while in the hospital my they were giving me very strobg antibiotics such as bactrum and Prilosec a multivitamin and probiotics. I told them that I was taught not to take any other medications or supplements with my hypothyroid medication levothyroxine when I went in to the hospital my kidneys were fine CREAT was 0.89 after approximately 5 days of this med concoction my kidneys CREAT shot upto 1.62 It was diagnoste as acute kidney injury could the concoction of meds vits etc ttaken with my levothyroxine been the cause of this . my CREAT is exactly 1 now thank you in advance

Hi,

The elevated creatinine is not related to your routine drugs and it might be due to something else. If renal parameters are persistently abnormal you can consult a nephrologist and get evaluated.
