Does Taking A Higher Dosage Of Amlodipine Besylate-Benazepril Cause Fatigue And Depression?
Hi, On my Doctors instructions, I just increased my dosage of Amloipine Besy-Benazeepri (doubled the dose) 2 weeks ago. Could this contribute to an increase in fatigue & sad (depressed) feelings? I m feeling down & I can t attribute it to anything else.
Though not depression, but fatigue weakness n dizziness are frequently associated with Amlodipine. So there is a good possibility that these symptoms may be because of the drug.
You can talk to your doctor to check to reduce the dose or giving you another drug for hypertension if there seem no other reasons for your symptoms.
If the symptoms resolve then it's fine but if these were thereafter reducing the dose then you should consider other causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
