Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Does Taking Quinapril, Hydrochlorothiazide And Carvedilol Cause Blurred Vision And Tiredness?
I have been taking 40 mg of quinapril for several years, had a spell of dressiness and the doctor had me start taking hydrochlorothiazide and carvedilol, are the first two the same drug, and do all three cause blurred vision and tiredness, email YYYY@YYYY
I am sorry to hear about this tiredness and blurred vision. They are all different medications used in combinations to treat high blood pressure. Your symptoms may point to the fact that your blood pressure number is lower than should actually be the case from treatment. I will suggest that you control you blood pressure and make sure the numbers are not too low which may suggest excess treatment and need the number of medications or dosages to be assessed and modified. Take many different measurements and present to us or your physician to see whether that is the most likely cause.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you for using our services and feel free to ask for more information if need be. Dr. Ditah, MD.
