Does Tetanus And Rabies Shot During Pregnancy Cause Miscarriage?

dear sir i was bitten by a stray cat on 3 oct i took tetanus toxoid and ATS i/m stat as advised by consultatant . then they advised me to get antirabies vaccine i did so. Got 2 doses one on 6 oct and one on10 oct. i was overdue my periods so i did the urine pregnancy test today which is positive. i just want to ask that will it lead to termination of pregnancy or not

I understand your concern.
Inactivated viruses or bacterial toxoids are safe in pregnancy. So tetanus toxoid is alright for the fetus.
Esquire weather you were given live viral vaccine/inactivated vaccine for rabies.
* If it is inactivated virus vaccine- you can continue it & observe fetal growth with a doctor's guidance.
* In case you are given active vaccine,you have to complete the course,as you have been bitten by a stray cat. But you have to go for termination of pregnancy.
