Does Thyroid Problem Stay Life Long?

gm sir, my wife had thyroid problem since she was pregnant, that time gyn. doc told that you have to take 0.25/0.5 medicine whole life there is not any solution. last year we got a baby and after that still she is taking same medicine. wht should be my next step, is thyroid is life time problm

most of the times its life time problem. dont worry,

use thyroxin based on TSH results.
check TSH evry 4- 6 months and titrate the thyroxine dose
