Does Touching Liquid Chemical Plunger During Pregnancy Cause Any Harm To Baby?

Hello doctor, my name is Sunitha. At the moment am 6 weeks pregnant and yesterday I have touched the liquid chemical plunger without wearing any gloves and now am scared whether this will affect my unborn baby. The water was blocked in the wash basin and I have to use it to unblock the blokkage and I was with that chemical for a while, but after that I have washed my hands. Could you please tell me whether this will affect my pregnancy or my baby. thank you

Hi....Greetings from Chennai. Please do not worry. The drug will affect the fetus only if it is systemically absorbed from the skin and the liquid chemical plunger is highly unlikely to get absorbed. So be rest assured.
